Susquehanna National Heritage Area and Rivertownes PA USA have served Lancaster & York County communities for over a decade by enhancing our river’s special places, highlighting our unique heritage, and connecting people to the river. 

Riverfest event each summer has commemorated the burning of the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge during the Civil War offering fun, recreational, and educational activities for visitors. Our goal is to grow Riverfest into a premium weekend-long event showcasing the best of the river in the years to come.
